Southern Parcel Hub: idea dropped?

Post by wandle »

I made a post about this in the Mail Centres & Distribution section, but it may be the case that RM have given up on the idea of building a third, new, parcel hub.
PRDC has now been re-branded as a Parcel Hub and no Mailsort will be processed there. The previous boss has taken VR and the new one installed. If the cross-docking work were to be removed, a lot of floor space might be freed-up....

Who's taken over the processing of Mailsort and whatever work would be cross-docked?

Cross-docking continues for now. I guess a major Network Review would be the first clue if that work were to be processed elsewhere
