So now you have to bend over the hanging pouch to tie up the letters for that pouch. Or you put the pouch on the york (bending your back) or on the floor (bending your back). I love how they have bags right on the end too - because obviously no one is going to accidentally knock the bag off as they push a york down a tight congested aisle.

We are all crammed in like sardines already!
Many of our sorting frames are falling apart with screws missing and bent legs etc. Imagine hanging more weight from them
Why is it these ideas always come from offices that look spacious and well run?

Why do we need more space for small parcels?

The 'driver sized' parcels ain't going on my frame.

Also where does my office get 300+ pouches from, we can barely get 1 new one.

My First Impression was WTF? So an Engineering Intern gets an idea from a Postie ... goes away, probably has to have several meetings (with lots of power point slides) .... spends a bit of money .... and comes up with ... A Hook!

I try to stay Positive in this Crazy World of Royal Mail but it still amazes me that this kind of Bullshit continues to go on .... I suppose the Intern probably got a wedge of money for his innovative idea whilst the Postie got .... Bugger All!

I notice that the example frame stands well isolated from other frames, whereas all of ours are butted up to each other or touching a wall on one side......not to mention the narrow aisles between frames opposite each other. All these bags full of packets sticking out are just going to get in the way in my office, although possibly not in the nice, spacious office shown in the video.

That is what is obviously going to happen!! Some of our aisles are less than 2 metres wide. What we need is more space and the way to create more space is not to cram more calls onto a frame; its to either expand the office or move duties to another office.

Royal Mail are hellbent on hammering a square peg into a round hole to save costs.
