It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Coronavirus Symptoms it should get put down as, and therefore discounted from the normal sickness procedure.

I had a back to work interview today after I was off for 2 days due to side effects of the vaccination. I was told it is now classed as a 'reaction to medication' and will count towards sick absence

One of my colleagues had to take 2 days off last week due to a reaction to his jab and was told by the Boss that it does count as a sick absence  but another colleague said the week before that Boss told him it didn’t count as an absence.

Make sure you tell them they are wrong and it needs changing. If it results in a Stage it will waste everyone's time because it would be incorrectly issued due to failure to follow procedure.
