Royal Mail CEO Simon Thompson Video : "I spend 45 minutes every week talking to Terry Pullinger"
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

So much opportunity for comment it's hard to know where to start...
Does Terry get to talk after the 45 minutes?

There are two types of people who find themselves at the top of the pyramid in big companies like Royal Mail. Predators who are obvious predators and ones who hide it well behind a sly smile and a wink. It’s obvious what this new guy is but the heads of the Cwu are too thick to realise it. We will all be in dispute mode again next spring.

Work to time the guidelines on the structural revisions were only sent out Tuesday. The first 100 offices have had two training sessions and a third is being scheduled.
A start up meeting has happened in most. However we are at least 8 weeks and probably longer from any duty output from the revision process. There are numerous joint signs offs after ensuring each offices data both indoor , variations and outdoor time are properly recorded.
So if any office is currently experiencing problems it has nothing to do with the Pathway to change Agreement as nothing has been deployed yet.

and the cwu and rm expect everything should be done and rosy by October then ? and if October is anything like last year and they still think they can sort dutys out and have a repick and still expect you to do the job and provide a service isMartin Walsh wrote: ↑25 Mar 2021, 22:38Work to time the guidelines on the structural revisions were only sent out Tuesday. If pda data is used in my office we are totally screwed, office is full of early start break skipping runners who are finished “early” every single day. They will be the first to have a fit and kick off when the delivery’s all get bigger of course. We are our own worst enemies at times.worktotime wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 09:14and the cwu and rm expect everything should be done and rosy by October then ? and if October is anything like last year and they still think they can sort dutys out and have a repick and still expect you to do the job and provide a service isMartin Walsh wrote: ↑25 Mar 2021, 22:38Work to time the guidelines on the structural revisions were only sent out Tuesday. So if any office is currently experiencing problems it has nothing to do with the Pathway to change Agreement as nothing has been deployed yet., so will pda data be used to record outdoor delivery spans ? if yes then why hasnt the cwu mentioned to members that this is what rm are doing and so do the you properly because of this , start on time , breaks , use the kit so the data they have is proper and not based on false information .

The PDA data will show the time it takes to complete a delivery from start to finish and if it's being done correctly.
Whether people start early or skip breaks is pretty much irrelevant.

Re: Royal Mail CEO Simon Thompson Video : "I spend 45 minutes every week talking to Terry Pullinger"
of course its relevant , so starting early doesnt effect the indoor work or the time you get out on delivery when youve not had a break before leaving the office? , and yes the pda data will show your outdoor span but how does it know if youve used a lwt which is mandatory by the way or carrying a bag ?Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 11:48The PDA data will show the time it takes to complete a delivery from start to finish and if it's being done correctly.

If there is a re-pick it will probably be best to pick the longest/worst duties because i for one will be working to time EVERYDAY.worktotime wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 09:47same at our office and i would like to see what the data shows , some starting 1 - 2 hours early for FREE, run round and dont take breaks and then start crying when they are given extra work , s**t and fan comes to mind .toonshola wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 09:25If pda data is used in my office we are totally screwed, office is full of early start break skipping runners who are finished “early” every single day. So if any office is currently experiencing problems it has nothing to do with the Pathway to change Agreement as nothing has been deployed yet.
so isnt CULTURE part of the pathway to change Agreement then ? or hasnt it been deployed yet . please tell .
