Re: Workplace by Facebook
It's Facebook for work. Utter horsesh#t. We had it at my old job. Just a platform for sucking up. Hardly anyone used it apart from those trying to get a name for themselves. Not really appropriate for posties! Utter waste of money at my old job and even more so at RM.

Re: Workplace by Facebook
I look forward to the headline 'Local postie sacked for unknowingly posting abusive message aimed at manager ON EMPLOYERS FACEBOOK!'

The Facebook whalers are creaming themselves!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Workplace by Facebook
Sounds an odd thing for RM to opt for. The casual racists and sexists will be hanging themselves.

Re: Workplace by Facebook
No doubt there is now a "Director of Workplace" who has put a big tick in the box for employee engagement. Another way that RM can make it look like they give a s**t while not actually giving a s**t.

In less than a week, all Royal Mail colleagues can access Workplace by Facebook to collaborate and communicate together.
The online tool has been available for managers only to this point, but as part of our drive to be more inclusive and work together the invite is now open to all to get involved - allowing everyone to take part in the decisions that bring about our change.
Workplace behaves in a similar way to Facebook, for those who already use that popular social media tool. It does not use your personal information and is not linked to your Facebook account.
If you are a member of Team Royal Mail – your voice will now be heard.
‘I believe this tool will also make sure we turn great ideas into action, quickly,’ says CEO Simon Thompson.
‘We know from our recent Trust Survey that you want to be involved in changes that impact your work - this is your chance.’
Your login details have been published in your latest payslip. So keep hold of that and get ready to join the conversation from Wednesday 31 March. You can download the Workplace app to your smartphone in advance. For more information about how to join click here...

Apparently if you sign up you get sent a special keyboard to interact with the app.

I wondered what this garbage was. As if my input pointing out obvious issues will get heard.
