Lateral Flow Tests

I have been given a box of tests and a Royal Mail instruction sheet and apparently I have to do twice weekly tests. Is the test to be done at home or at work?

In the absence of any instructions I'd do it at home. It's supposed to be done in hygienic conditions
i.e wash your hands, surface to put items on is to be cleaned/sanitized, better to have a mirror
available to make sure you guide the swab accurately towards your tonsils - the state of some RM offices
are a haven for contamination.

my wife works in a school...and eldest lad in college...both have these tests...
do them at home on a day before work...ie if you off on a sunday and working monday you do it sunday night

thats what they do

then they do them again weds or thur....

you then upload the results and get a txt back saying negative bla bla if its neg

its a bit daft if anybody takes them into work to do a test...if its positive then potentially ppl around could be infected

not here....but to be fair here we have a lateral flow test centre virtually next door to our d.o so its been available to us if we wanted

I've had the vaccine - but I still do the test - the vaccine does not stop you getting the virus, it
reduces the effects, you can still be an asymptomatic carrier and pass it on to more vulnerable people -
so yes do the test still.

Same in our house. Wife was instructed to do hers Monday & Thursday. Son Sunday and Wednesday. Tests to be done 30 minutes away from food so all tests getting done as soon as they wake.

wifes had it due working in special needs school...also does 2 weekly tests,,,,,,the vaccine makes u less ill if u catch corona....it doesnt stop u getting the virus or passing it on

Do you not have tetanus, polio, meningitis, hepatitis, HPV, typhoid, flu jabs etc etc to help reduce the risk of those diseases? Bit late waiting to get those things then having a vaccine. Prevention is better then cure. All those things are to prevent or lesson the chances or catching or becoming seriously ill. Let's hope all those people against the jab don't allow the virus to continue to spread and mutate more then it already is.

It is lots of technical details going into how those ‘vaccines’ work and PM me if you are interested but it MIGHT be a possibility that those are actually what they call a ‘leaky vaccines’ and therefore might make things more complicated with serious side effect in long term and virus might mutate much different being in contact with people who received mRNA vaccines than when exposed to herd immunity scenario and natural mutation which always occur with viruses. I hope that is not a case as possible outcome of ‘leaky vaccines’ scenario (look into inoculation of chickens history) might be horrendous even to contemplate. I think it is time to stop it for a while, step back and look into all the exaggerated data across the world, run again the computer pandemic model without inflating figures etc and maybe we come to conclusion that risk/benefit is not appropriate into risking your health injecting something experimental into your bodies with risks much more than possible benefits if any. The aim of many governments and it looks like also our Union wants ZERO covid policy which mean lockdowns, masks, ‘vaccines’ are for very long term with health implication for ALL population instead of almost all deaths occurring in people past their average death age.
