Customer collections

Post by postieblueshirt »

Hi so does anyone know how to move the collection from one duty to another?.we had 3 today but of course the ones on my pda were for my partners loops and vice versa which is a pain.if anyone knows it would be a help.and I know I could swap pda but he leaves parcels everywhere so I dont want him using my pda and I had consolidation aswell.

I don't think it's possible, but I have some suggestions:
  1. Swap PDA's for the specific loop. If you both have designated loops then it *should* be obvious to management that you are not liable for anything on that loop.
  2. Swap loops for the consumer collection
  3. Ask the manager what you should do

If you go to Manage Customer Collections (think that is what it is called) there is the option to scan in additional routes.

Do that and you can scan in the other route and the collections will appear. If you both do that you will also have to use Manage Customer Collections to "hide" the collections that the other person is doing.

I posted pictures of the guide in this thread, though it doesn't tell you what you want to do viewtopic.php?f=1&t=97707&start=15

its simple just swap pdas for that loop thats what we do , otherwise i think you both can scan each others delivery route barcodes and then i think they will show on the pdas .

Can’t you just scan them when he/she brings it back to the van?

You could but it would be unwise to do so as part of the 'proof of collection' is the GPS locating you at the pick-up point.

Like delivering tracked or making a normal collection, it's only a very mild hassle to do the whole procedure correctly.

Swapping PDAs, I would not let my dirty Son of a partner get his grubby fingers on my screen, don't know where they've been, what about Covid19?
