Im off due to a reaction from the covid vacine so is the below true ? just sunday is not a working day ?

Does the absence get recorded as a Covid absence (and therefore not part of the attendance procedure) or is it a normal absence that 'could' lead to a stage warning?

If employees are unwell following a vaccination , the absence should be recorded based on the symptoms i.e. temperature, sore arm.
In terms of attendance process, in the short term the absence would be discounted as it relates to coronavirus.

You read it on here, and I posted it, of course it's true.💁‍♂️

Just to be clear in case people are confused (although I might make it worse) the attendance procedure and the sick absence policy are two very different things.

A Coronavirus related absence might be discounted from the attendance procedure but it's still sick absence, still counts towards your overall full pay/half pay quota and will still go on your overall sick absence record.

POSTMAN - where was this passage lifted from If employees are unwell following a vaccination , the absence should be recorded based on the symptoms i.e. temperature, sore arm.

As we have a local manager stating HR advise otherwise, that any vaccination related bad reactions of which lead to a 2, 3 or 4 day absence, are NOT discounted in the attendance process.

I am off sick with stress through work ,also had a heart attack and mini stroke 2 years ago been off for six weeks so far but they now want me to come in for a meeting ( risk assessment , help etc ) ..do I have to go into the office for a face to face meeting seeing as I am still signed off for the next 2 weeks by the doctor ...seems odd to me ..any thoughts ?
No!

If you are off sick then you do not have to attend work for any reason.
