Backpay - 26th February
Hi,
When I checked my Royal mail People App I noticed that the latest payslip is available for viewing.
There is a row called " Other payments" where a certain amount is added to my wages. Any idea what this term means?
Also i didnt see any of my 12+ hours overtime in this slip.
Tried to call the HR but the automated system says that i need to speak to the manager regarding the hours and only they can do the necessary alterations.
Cheers

Yes this 12+ was for the last week from 15th Mon to the 20th of Saturday. I have attached a section of the wage slip. Maybe someone can give me an insight about these calculations? Am i missing some money here?
Thanks in advance

Same as other replies..... Will depend on when it was inputted into PSP, they closed it early to sort out back pay. Anything entered after Friday will go into next weeks pay.postman2015 wrote: ↑24 Feb 2021, 19:56Yes this 12+ was for the last week from 15th Mon to the 20th of Saturday.

Re: Backpay - 26th February
If anything after Friday goes to the next week I should have at least received the Mon-Thurs day OT. Maybe PSP was closed much earlier. I will ask the manager to speak with HR to find the cause of the missing OT.

Apparently any OT Thurs - Sat wasn’t put in as PSP was closed.
You should have Mon - Wed OT

Re: Backpay - 26th February
I'm hoping someone can help with mine, my other payments section is showing £-71 and I can't work out why it would be minus. Anyone know? Thanks.

Re: Backpay - 26th February
The other payments is calculated from any items that would not fit on your payslip this week. For example your backdated overtime pay or reserved rights payments if you were a PHG or driver, also it will include any deductions that are not showing that you normally pay, so any pension payments, AVC or Bonus plan and any colleague shares or other deductions you have taken from your weekly pay.
Mine was a negative figure too, I guess it depends on how much extra overtime you normally do and how many other items were itemized above the final entry

Nope. I should have received 11. hours of OT. But nothing is shown in the payslip. I tried to call HR but the automated system says to contact the manager to resolve the pay issues.Manager is able to get in touch with the HR.
I also asked the question through the app. Still no reply.

Yes. It was from 15th to the 20th(Mon-Fri). If they had closed the PSP earlier i should have at least received few days OT. Not a single day's OT has been paid. Tried to call HR but the automated system says to contact the manager. Is there any other number i can dial to get in touch with the HR personnel?worktotime wrote: ↑24 Feb 2021, 19:49was your 12 hours o/t done last week ? , if yes , they had a cut off point of thursday and will be paid next week .

It had to be put through the system by 5pm Friday.postman2015 wrote: ↑25 Feb 2021, 16:08Nope. I should have received 11. hours of OT. But nothing is shown in the payslip. If your manager hasn't done this then it will be next week.
He/she may say they have but that doesn't mean they have.

Re: Backpay - 26th February
I have had similar problem missing overtime from last week Bookroom say all overtime was put into system and also my pension deductions was missing from wage slip. Because of all the back pay additions the left hand column was full on wage slip maybe this has caused the problem. We give it till next wage slip is available to see if things are amended.

2.7% of not very much is not very much.
Council tax rises, gas/elec rises and increased cost of food will devour it all and then some.
1% from April - that's a f***ing joke.
