Colleagues' questions on our CWU agreement continue to be answered by chief operating officer, Achim Dünnwald, writes Paul Smith.
Kelly Adam, area leadership support manager, wants to know more about the technology involved in the agreement, while postwoman from Watford, Amira Rahmoune, is interested in what it says about culture.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

to me there is a simple stop to the culture in offices , as we all know some so called managers dont care how they treat or speak to staff because if anybody puts in a b&h or grievance it will be dealt with by another manager
, so they will get away with what they have done and carry on or get moved on to another orrifice , these cases need to be taken away from the in house way to deal with and should be put out to an independant body to deal with and its not rocket science , but do you think the the company really want to change the culture ? ,

What does an 'Area Leadership Team Support Manager' contribute to the business exactly?

I'm unclear why we need Area Leadership Teams, let alone managers to support them.
