Holidays and leaving

Hello,

I handed my notice in a month ago and left the Royal Mail 09/01/2021 on the understanding my holidays which were due would be paid to myself on leave. as yet the holidays have not been paid.... when would i expect to receive this? how long until i receive a final salry or breakdown as i have already had my P45, is this evidence of final salary?

Speak with hr, but its your manager who has to inform hr how many hours leave you have.
You may have to confirm your bank details, since your no longer an employee.

hmmm, why am i not suprised..... if this is my managers responsibility and he said when i left it will all be sorted by HR.
This is not the first time that manager has tried to short my pay packet.... what would you advise? obviously i will speak to HR on monday.

How much leave have you taken this year? leave is a cumulative thing. If you work three quarters of the year you are only entitled to three quarters of your entitled leave.

Just looked at your posts. I see you just started recently. If you've only been there two months, you will only be entitled to 2/12 of 22.5 days. That works out at 3.75 days. When I left recently I got my P45 before I got my outstanding leave.

no leave taken, started begining of november. i understand christmas and new year were bank holidays but i still accrued more days than bank holidays if that even makes a difference.

I was lucky. I got mine two weeks after leaving though I have noticed other people had to chase it up.

I was told last friday it would be paid this week.... it still has not been paid. fuming
They agreed it was my money and should be paid to me so i dont see why it wasn't automatically done so and why when they said it would be in my account this week it isn't.

I have recently downloaded the "People App" on recommendation from a colleague. This gives you access to the Annual leave which remains. While in this instance it is too late to register, because the employee has left, it is an option for anyone who wants to check their A/L or payslips.

I was owed 5 hours when I left. Never got it! RM don't give a toss particularly once you have left!

definately not impressed as originally i booked my holidays into my notice period and then i was begged by management to work those days as they were struggling for cover and they said i would be paid all the holidays accrued. annoyingly people joked that i should just leave as soon as final weeks pay lands....
reason for leaving was i got made a better offer from a company that worked closely with my previous employer.
the job was fine/good, but messing with my pay and hours is not. (especially when it is a legal requirement)
I guess i will have to make yet another phone call, i should raise a formal complaint (someone isn't doing their job properly) and failing that bill them for my time.
I'll look into the app thing, cheers

No point in looking into the app thing as you have to be employed by rm.

spoke to Pay on the phone today, they said the required form is still with my old manager so the payroll people are going to chase it up.
I asked what happens in the event the manager decides to ignore his e-mails as he has already done or not complete the form (any lazy excuse) what are my options? i left on good terms so i am suprised, i imagine they are just busy busy.....
i requested escalation process or do i just name and shame them, like i said i wouldn't mind but royal mail themselves agree that i am due my pay and its just waiting for a manager to complete a form..... seeems abit wrong.
