MRM.COM : Royal Mail trust survey : How trust matters to you : One of The three priority areas as outlined by CEO Simon Thompson.

https://www.myroyalmail.com/news/2021/02/trust-survey

We’re all ears and value your opinions. To build upon the well-received take-up of Your View, we’re now putting the spotlight on trust; one of the three priority areas outlined by CEO Simon Thompson.

Launching soon, The Trust Survey is designed to be quick, simple and easy to complete. It features a number of questions that will benchmark the value of trust at Royal Mail.

This is an opportunity to ignite colleagues’ views on a topic that is a critical factor in job satisfaction and quality performance in a collaborative environment.

The online survey will run for one week only - Monday 22 February to Sunday 28 February – and can be accessed on any internet-enabled device via the below options:
  • Online link
    Scanning a QR code, or
Accessing via our new People App (for existing App users only)
You will be directed to enter your pay number as your password to ensure that:
  • Only Royal Mail Group colleagues can submit a response.
    The survey is completed once
We develop an understanding of where important themes exist across the business for different roles and functions.
The confidential survey encourages everyone to provide their honest opinions. Your responses will be recorded directly to the platform of the independent survey partner, Qualtrics, to ensure anonymity.

Don’t forget, there will be another opportunity in late Spring to provide feedback on a wider range of business topics as part of this year’s annual Engagement survey.

For more about The Trust Survey, keep an eye on myroyalmail.com and Workplace. CEO Simon Thompson will provide an update in an upcoming RMtv.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

RM don't trust their staff and think we are all infant children or idiots. We are neither of these things & everyone knows it.
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.

You've probably got more chance of winning 10 consecutive Euromillions lottery draws than them taking any notice of what we say

"Trust" ....... firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something.

I'd like to be more Optimistic, and give the new CEO a chance. However I keep getting that feeling it'll be the same old bullshit excercise, just like the Have Your Say surveys. :hmmmm

I do feel that Higher Management do perhaps want to make a change to the way this Business is run. They just have too many Old School Managers beneath them that are just not willing to change the way "They" have run (sorry nearly said worked :silenced ) things for years,if not decades! :cuppa

I'm inclined to agree with your thoughts, I'm also convinced that higher management are under the impression that as they pay an extremely generous amount to their doms they employ the "best of the best", disappointingly this isn't the case, hopefully higher management will deal with this issue.

I've always thought the Lower End Management in Royal Mail is the worst I've EVER come across. :thumbdown I'll admit there's bound to be a FEW Good DOMs out there ........ the Law of Averages says they can't ALL be Useless Bastards. :left:

How anyone can step into the job without any kind of Formal Qualification, or Previous Experience, is a Mystery? I know a lot of them are "Failed Postmen" that think it'll be easier than walking around in the Cold & Wet. A lot of them are incaple of holding a well thought out and constructive conversation with anyone. Regardless of Qualifications I would have thought this a Basic Requirement for a business that deals in People & Communication .... we don't actually manufacture anything! :hmmmm

I'm Not Anti-Royal Mail .... I'm Anti Dickhead, be they Managers or Posties! I would really like this Business to be run successfully, and competently, lets hope the CEO makes some changes for the Good? :cuppa
