Part timers bonus pay?
Apparantly we all get a 3.7% payrise backdated plus an hour reduction in the working week...... err except for part timers. But then they said part timers will be compensated for not getting this hour reduction in the working week.
Does that mean we get more than 3.7% payrise?
Us part timers seem to get shafted left right and centre so it would be nice to get treated fairly for once.

Re: Part timers bonus pay?
I am part-time now. When FTimers get an I hr reduction they, and we get a 2.6 pay rise. So we get more money for the same hours, FT gets the same pay for fewer hours.CHUCKYPIG wrote: ↑05 Feb 2021, 22:16Apparantly we all get a 3.7% payrise backdated plus an hour reduction in the working week...... err except for part timers. Re: Part timers bonus pay?
both will get paid the same hourly rate, I guess the only difference might be although full timers will have less hours to work on paper, the actual work load will be the same.

Two things there if you can do the same work in the allotted time that is an efficiency saving if you cannot you bring it back and a revision needs to be done!sorefeet17 wrote: ↑06 Feb 2021, 13:17both will get paid the same hourly rate, I guess the only difference might be although full timers will have less hours to work on paper, the actual work load will be the same.

In theory yes, but not all DO's are run in the same manner, bring mail back in our office and you would need to be prepared for one hell of a fight with management.k979aaa wrote: ↑06 Feb 2021, 14:38Two things there if you can do the same work in the allotted time that is an efficiency saving if you cannot you bring it back and a revision needs to be done!sorefeet17 wrote: ↑06 Feb 2021, 13:17both will get paid the same hourly rate, I guess the only difference might be although full timers will have less hours to work on paper, the actual work load will be the same.

Re: Part timers bonus pay?
Been bringing back mail all week. Managers said no overtime, if you can't complete bring it back. As long as parcels are done they don't worry.
By way is overtime ban national?

Sounds about right. Everyone is equal, just some are more equal than others.postmanpat wrote: ↑06 Feb 2021, 20:21Yeah no OT allowed on Mon Tues or Saturday here in Yorkshire.

Re: Part timers bonus pay?
We are allowed to do as much overtime as we want to get the job done. Some days I'm doing double packets to cover those who don't drive and extra mail. Quite a few of us are doing quite a bit of overtime every day.
So no the overtime ban is not national
