Click and collect

Post by exaandt »

Hello all just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.
Been told by management today I missed two click and collect items yesterday!
They didn't appear on my pda so as far as I'm concerned I would not of known to pick them up.
Been told that a report is going to be written .
I check everyday re these items and it definitely was not on pda.
Is there anyway of finding out if it was on pda or is that to complicated?
All advice appreciated.
Take care

Take a photo of pda before you leave the office. Or show a manager. Otherwise the blame will just be put on you.

In our office, there is a sheet in the morning which shows what customer collections we have and how many, if it's not done by a certain time, manager rings to check status of it. I've once or twice nipped back out because a couple of other people have either forgot or I checked collections area because it hadn't scanned it properly but collected. The reason we do this is because we have a lot of drivers doing 2 or more walks and dropping mail out to people, so we sometimes have to scan multiple walks on to the pda. Ask your manager why nothing was mentioned at your finish time perhaps, it's their responsibility to check, and if nothing showed on the pda, just say that and you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

We have had people not scanning the lapsed walks so this can cause problems, the pda has the option to scan other rounds then hide items not on your split
