I got it too. Was slightly confused. Still don’t know why.

It's the difference between contractual hours and actual hours worked with regards to the lump sum paid at Christmas.

If they pay this on the Xmas Bonus why are they still breaking the law and not paying holiday pay correctly to full and part-time staff who regularly and consistently carry out over-time?

The Good Work Plan became law on 6th April 2020. It states; "From 6th April 2020 Holiday pay should be calculated over a 52-week reference period therefore when a colleague takes annual leave, their holiday pay should be worked out to include any paid overtime worked within a rolling 52 weeks period."

They are still refusing to pay anything over contractual hours which is illegal. This issue is being delayed by a complex grievance process that has been rolled into an ongoing group legal action by the CWU. No settlement of this issue looks even remotely close. Why?

The issue has been delayed by the pandemic. I agree though that the CWU have been slow to act before the breakout of Covid.

They only pay it on one half of the 2 Christmas bonuses.
Tribunal set for June apparently by which time Boris will have proved what a sovereign nation we are and put a match to the Working Time Directive.
