Re: Dury duty
It will be down to your manager whether you can re-arrange your annual leave so ask first.
If not you can apply for a deferment in your jury service.

Re: Dury duty
Have a word with your manager, they might give you reasons to be cheerful, but they might put a fly in the ointment too.

Can you not ask for 4,000 Weeks' Holiday?Postiebear wrote: ↑13 Jan 2021, 21:04I have been called for Dury duty and it clashes with my holiday, will royal mail let me change my holiday dates or is it tough luck?
And while you're deliberating with your fellow jury members, you can always pass the time by reading The Bus Driver's Prayer & Other Stories.

Re: Dury duty
usually a member of staff manages holidays and if theyre the decent sort theyll let you change this without much fuss, it depends on the office as some DOMs want to know about every holiday change and others dont really care. So again as first port of call have a word with the person who does holidays, its likely that they will be cancelled as jury duty is replacement for work and not a holiday.Postiebear wrote: ↑13 Jan 2021, 21:04I have been called for Dury duty and it clashes with my holiday, will royal mail let me change my holiday dates or is it tough luck?
