favouritism in our office
Hi Guys & gals
Is there anything that can be done by a DOM picking his favourite employees week after week year after year for eg holidays when they want xmas when they want and duties that are vacant never get advertised and they surprisingly get to do these tasks indefinitely for his benefit and to make things worse we have a union rep who is a waist of time talking to about such issues because he has no clue on how to approach the DOM about our concerns i am sure this happens in a lot it many royal mail offices but i would like to know what can be done.
any advice would be appreciated.
Happy xmas btw & thanks again.

Stick in a grievance
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Re: favouritism in our office
Go you your rep tell him you would like him to sort out your issues if you dont like his answer after the meeting with the rep and manager ask him to put a Grievances in to the manager and explain to him why ,
The managers are showing favrouritism in the work place.
Your problem is covered in the equilty and fairness agreement
• A grievance is when you have a genuine concern, problem or complaint relating to your work or
employment.
• You should aim to settle most grievances informally with your manager where appropriate (this is the first
stage of the process).
Hopefully that will sort it out
