Bit rude ! It would be interesting to see how this pandemic and Christmas combination has affected the workforce and how people have coped or not and resigned.

We've lost a great deal of staff due to resignations, sackings plus a few gone long term sick.
All as a consequence of a poorly managed 'plan' of how to work through the pandemic.

People are being driven to leave Royal Mail because of the stress of the workload. :arrrghhh And they couldn't care less because there are plenty of unemployed people waiting to fill our boots. WHERE IS THE USELESS UNION?

Yep. It’s shocking what’s going on. Surely RM would’ve had an idea of how Christmas was looking in terms of covid being around. They should of been on the ball after the first lockdown seeing an increase in parcels.

At our office, it’s madness. Went back in today after having yesterday off and it was full of 2 days worth of packets and 2 days worth of mail. Counted all my packets after writing them down; I had 115 in total.

Took the packets and parcels, & 1 loop with 4 bundles as I didn’t leave the office until 3pm (waiting for vans to come back as I’m on a 1/7 shift)

Managed to clear packets and parcels but didn’t even touch the mail. So that means I’ll have 3 days worth of mail tomorrow :arrrghhh

Me almost 3 weeks ago! Loved the job till it got ridiculous with the amount of extra roads just added on randomly. The pressure and wrecking of my knees and feet just got too much. I feel so much better now! Of course they never did pay all my outstanding hours- still chasing it. But thats RM for you.
Another guy at my office after 42 years left the week before. And now Covid has hit the office!
