Do RM give a sh1t about letters?

Today I thought bollox, I have been endorcing every 3rd unfranked Christmas card but its getting beyond a joke and has never been this bad.
If RM can't be arsed why should I , they obviously aren't interested and want shot of them and the big increase in stamp price will reduce it further.
They leave the letters at our office and concerntrate on parcels and what about 1st class mail that people pay for , people are getting ripped off and all 1st and 2nd class are treated the same??

I reckon I'm seeing more uncancelled stamps each day than the wages I earn each day.

The only way a stamp now gets cancelled is if the postmaster in the post office stamps it or you the postman, anything from the postbox will not be cancelled

It’s a nightmare if you’ve not prepped the round yourself so you’re just expected to cancel the stamps as you walk round, as if we haven’t got enough to hold and do as we walk round. Yesterday I must’ve cancelled 60-70 stamps while on the round.

Been on same round for years - some days every other letter and parcel has got uncancelled stamps on
It's not just Christmas or cv19 bet most people don't even look at the stamps and just post them
I had 5 uncancelled stamps just for 2 doors put my pen away and there's another one

Same with Work place erm coaches no coaching for months on end. Complete waste of money !!

Probably late shift managers telling their staff to stop cancelling stamps and to just get it sorted and out the door

Letters are just rolled. I recon xmas cards will be delivers mid jan with the holiday cats.

Flat sorting machines are the worst , they don't even cancel stamps , the bloody things should be decommissioned.
Lots of bloody machinable letters get put through , meaning the receiving office has to manually sort them.

If you've got an iLSM why don't all the machinable letters from the manual flats section get put to one side and then at the end just before you switch to the final "Inward Refeeds" mailstream, run them on the "Inward Manual Flats" mailstream. The same can be done for machinable letters that come through the manual letters section, using the "Inward Manual Letters" mailstream.

A lot of boxes from PSMs contain lots of packets. tbqf I don't think there's enough flats traffic to justify RM having any FSMs now

Go on E Bay there are 100s of Unfranked stamps for sale . Like others have said never seen it so bad in one tray over half are unfranked and no one seems to care.
