If your day off lands on Christmas day, will i get this day back.

Yes you will, if like me it's your weekend off been told will only get one day back not two.

You can get a day owing or ask for it to be payed. They aren't to keep on paying you but you are entitled to the day being credited back to you. Make sure you get it

Our local management are always keen to pay up - more often than not the OT payment will take you over 38hrs for
the week - so no delivery supplement or pension to pay on the hours over 38 for RM and they don't have the faff later of people
with 'extra' holiday to book. If you take the credit day, you obviously still get the full delivery supplement and pension payment
on those hours.
