Drone duty!!!!
Reading what our chairman said about drones,I quite fancy a drone duty myself. Surely got to be easier on the body!

Re: Drone duty!!!!
Getting the proper details soon, but it's a skilled duty so you will have an interview, you go to fantasy island and look out for a midget who will interview you.
Seniority will come into play if multiple candidates apply.
Hold tight for the joint statement.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Hope they work better than the PDAs, otherwise who knows where the mail will turn up, if it arrives at all!

Re: Drone duty!!!!
Do you want to reconsider use of the term “midget”?
One of the few situations where the word is acceptable in in the episode of One Foot In The Grave where the Meldrews stay in the Guest House, and the Romanian guests complain of ‘midges’ in the bathroom, which is of course hilarious ! ! !

Re: Drone duty!!!!
When me and my mates were kids, many moons ago, we would have loved to have had drones as target practice with our air rifles. Just pointing out another possible hazard.

Re: Drone duty!!!!
Villechaize was born with dwarfism, likely due to an endocrine disorder, which his surgeon father tried unsuccessfully to cure in several institutions.[3] In later years, he insisted on being called a "midget" rather than a "dwarf".[2][4]...ConeHater wrote: ↑16 Dec 2020, 11:45Do you want to reconsider use of the term “midget”?

Re: Drone duty!!!!
Fair enough regarding Villechaize insisting on that term when he was alive. Different times ! I’m sure the tide was turning 30+ years ago ( his later years ) against such terms to describe any aspect of existence that appeared different to what certain folk would consider “normal”.POSTMAN wrote: ↑16 Dec 2020, 21:41Villechaize was born with dwarfism, likely due to an endocrine disorder, which his surgeon father tried unsuccessfully to cure in several institutions.[3] In later years, he insisted on being called a "midget" rather than a "dwarf".[2][4]...ConeHater wrote: ↑16 Dec 2020, 11:45Do you want to reconsider use of the term “midget”?
