Sick Pay

Post by amhopkins1 »

What do we get as sick pay? And how long does it last? I've worked for 2 & a half years at Royal Mail. Also, is there any sort of life insurance in our contract?

How have you worked for RM for 2.5 years and don’t know what sick pay you are entitled to...

I am sure all the offices have indemnity insurance if on property or using vans but private cars don't unless business class insurance cop's are on to this now!

What I'm really wanting to know is how long we get full pay for? If we're of sick

This is August 2017, may or may not be up to date but it was first up in a google search

https://www.myroyalmail.com/sites/defau ... 202017.pdf

"After 12 months of service = full rate sick pay for the first six months, followed by half rate. Full rate will be paid for a maximum of 6 months in any calendar year"

There is a Death In Service payment based on your Pensionable Pay but no Life Insurance as part of your contract.
