Yes you get paid, see stickies/announcements for more details.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

There are many different ones that are updated sometimes on a daily basis so its difficult to give you a direct llink.
However, go to the main page of the Coronavirus section of the board and there will be a list of stickies and announcements.
It will take a bit of digging on your part, but its more difficult for us to do it for every post asking the same question on a near;y daily basis.

Re: Track and Trace
Anyone been told that postmen should not download the Track & Trace app, due to the nature of the job?

Re: Track and Trace
If you have covid symptoms then do Royal Mail expect you to go out and get a test that day even if you dont feel upto it or are you allowed to order a test kit online?

Re: Track and Trace
If you have symptoms the advantage of going to a test site means you should get your results quicker meaning you and your household can stop isolating quicker if you test negative. Either way if you are too poorly to go to work even with a negative result then stay at home

Re: Track and Trace
I was 'Pinged' last Thursday night by the App while at work on the Night Shift and have been Isolating since.
Have just opened my payslip and seen I've received £50.
Possibly due to shielding for six months earlier in the year.
Where do I stand with this?
Hardly seems fair when I've been following Government guidelines.

On Friday 3 posties where pinged after scanning in at the delivery office & are now self isolating, this morning the QR code poster had been removed, the union rep & the DOM said it had the wrong location info in the code?

Re: Track and Trace
They don't even need to put a QR code up so not sure why they did. download/file.php?id=13087
Do we need to display a QR code on our premises so that employees and visitors can scan and confirm their presence?
Royal Mail is supporting the use of the NHS Covid-19 App. We want to encourage everyone to download the NHS Covid-19 app on their phone. Guidance on how you can do this is available through the link. There is no requirement for QR codes to be displayed in workplaces which means we do not need to display QR codes in our units, offices or canteens. If you are in contact with someone who later tests positive for coronavirus, the app will be able to alert you and provide instructions on what to do if applicable. Some of the guidance you will receive is advisory only.

if you got a CEV letter and you are shielding then you will get paid (with some caveats). But if you are isolating, then, although it is unfair - its is following the guidelines download/file.php?id=13087

had to isolate via the T&T app for 10 days
also had a lot of time off due to (asthma and heart condition) been back at work for about 5 months now with no time off
i came back to a round that hadnt gone out the previous day, and on arriving back today noticed last weeks door to doors (4 lots) , placed on my frame ,presumably for me to deal with next week
the thing is having not been paid a penny, even D2D payments can i refuse to do these now ?
