Occupational health phone call
Hi, I've been off work now for a few weeks. I've been in weekly contact with manager and been covered by a sick line from doctor. I've got a phone call from occupational health this week. Just wondering what sort of stuff do they ask? Thanks

They will want to know if you have been referred by your GP to a hospital specialist and if you have any dates for appointments. Have you had blood tests or Xrays etc. Fairly routine stuff and nothing to worry about. They will then send a report to your DOM.

they are very nice, at least when i spoke to them. They will ask about your condition and how it affects your work.

If your line manager refers you to Occ Health do they have to consult & get your consent before referring you?

Re: Occupational health phone call
They're supposed to yes. In my experience they just take a lack of refusal as consent and if that lack of refusal is due to ignorance of options then so be it.
