Working at least 15 hours a day
We have a Stan starting, 3am or earlier possibly midnight going home at 6pm every day. And he's even driving on the later part. Who do you report this to?

Doesn't need reporting.
After a certain number of hours are booked into PSP any discrepancies are flagged up to the DOM.

Re: Working at least 15 hours a day
My interpretation of the quote below is that he's flouting the 'on duty time limit' for drivers. It might get flagged
up to the DOM, but will the DOM do anything about it? Wouldn't like to be on the road when he's driving home
in the evening - could easily spoil someone's Christmas. H&S rep involvement? just say it?

Duty time
If you work as a driver for a company, duty time is any working time. If you’re self-employed, duty time is only time you spend driving the vehicle or doing other work related to the vehicle or its load.
Daily driving limit
You must not drive for more than 10 hours in a day:
on a public road
off-road if not during duty time
Off-road driving counts as duty time if it’s for:
agriculture
quarrying
forestry
building work
civil engineering
Daily duty limit
You must not be on duty for more than 11 hours in any working day. This limit does not apply on any working day when you do not drive.
You must record your hours on a weekly record sheet or on a tachograph.

He obviously has issues. I would leave well alone, it’s upto him what he does unless you are saying he is being bullied into it?

that's if the hours are booked accurately, manipulation of hours with them being carried over to the following, week to keep under the 70hr limit is frequently done in our DO.midegarelu wrote: ↑06 Dec 2020, 16:47Doesn't need reporting.

Re: Working at least 15 hours a day
So would a guy starting at 3:30am and finishing at 3:30pm be legally allowed to drive at any point within that time?
From what i have read above, it looks like the answer is no. Am i right?

Of coarse they would. Lorry drivers I know would love to only work 12 hours a day (only 9 or 10 hours driving though)

Re: Working at least 15 hours a day
Back in the old days when we got double pay after a certain hour of the night I could understand him doing those hours.
Honestly though the fella must not have a life outside Royal Mail to do those hours. I feel sorry for him
