If we are talking Saturday 26th, then its normal rates as it is not a Bank Holiday.

If we are talking Monday 28th, then it's Bank Holiday rates.

If it's not your scheduled day off that week , you shouldn't be getting paid any extra at all.

So this really has wound me up now. So, a day when you are scheduled to work, you get paid to come in coz its a non service day while all of us that are scheduled day off that day don't get it back in lieu. One of the many injustices in royal mail.
If you are a scheduled day off during the week you should have to work it if you want paying for coming in on boxing Day.

Apparently this ludicrous situation over boxing day also happened in 2015. Not really sure how the CWU have not had this changed since it does mean that around 1/6th of PHG;s will lose a days leave compared to the rest. As someone commented we should not really be surprised with how the business treats it. I think it probably a good bet that no DIM has a day off scheduled for the 26th
