Meet Ken!

Post by saru »

I've just had this email from Ken:

>>>>>Meet the staff from The People's Post Office® on their own website

I'm Ken and I work for The People's Post Office®. You might recognise me from off the telly since the boss started using our branch in his adverts. It must be something to do with all the famous customers we've got popping in all the time. Mind you, we're getting a bit famous ourselves these days - the milkman asked me for my autograph this morning!

Anyway, the reason I'm getting in touch is to tell you about our new mini website - www.thepeoplespostoffice.co.uk. You can meet my team - Amir, Jill and Ted - and find out all about us. And you can even see our telly ads, which I think is a bit strange. I mean, watching telly on your computer?

Do pop in and meet us in our staff room. We've got plenty of biscuits and I'm sure we can find you a clean cup for some tea.

Hope to see you soon.<<<<<

I just looked at it & thought what a patronizing piece of shite it is. I don't think I'll be "popping in for a cup of tea" any time soon. Any takers??? :cuppa :cuppa :cuppa

Can you leave messages? I've a few things I would like to say :whistle
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Royal Mail PLC are good at doing this patronizing rubbish , aren't they .They seem to think we've all got a mental age of 8-10 , sorry that's insulting to children .

They seem to breed these patronizing w*****s, particulary from area level upwards . That's :lfo for you , "clear direct communication ". That American Management style of simplifying everything to a level that a absolute beginner can understand went out in the early 90's .
Image and these b****rs are closing them down , nice cartoon of Leighton
