'Only one payment can be received by any individual based on the level of commitment given. However in all cases where the commitment is made and the hours are performed, each hour will also attract an hourly rate of £21.50, which is equivalent to double the normal rate.'

Are the posties 2nd rate citizens then?

That appears to be for weekend work and also on top a payment based on how many shifts you commit to.
Nothing like that in our agreement even with the the high expected volume of parcels /packets which will be kicking in next week.
Good luck to them just wish we had similar incentives

Our old Dom would come round every Xmas pressure and ask who would 'commit to deliver'?
Those who wouldn't were still harangued in an attempt to get an agreed amount of out of them.

This is the rate for weekend overtime, ie: Saturday/Sunday. There's nothing new to the rate, it's been like that for a few years. The additional payment if you commit to 2/3 days and at least 8 hours is slightly different this year as they're expecting record volumes.
