It's a case of your manager may say to some part timers in your office that they can temporarily up their hrs over the xmas period.To ensure parity of treatment, where workload supports the increase, part time or 35-hour full
time staff performing 38-hour duties may extend their contractual hours to 38 for the Christmas
period through a temporary variation of contract in line with the current process.

Unfortunately a lot of manager will get people in early but will not do the temp change officially to save paying the full xmas bonus......PTers shafted at every turn.

Liklihood is that PT staff will get more hours offered BUT they'll be asked to stay out to 8/9PM.

Part timers in my office are being made up to full time but they have to come in at normal time and the extra hours are outdoor delivering extra
