All CWU Reps should be out on delivery for at least three days a month lest they become detached from the very people they are supposed to be representing.

Seen this happen where the main rep is simply doing the job so he can evade actually walking as he feels he has done his bit and is now above it.

Very quickly they lose sight of just how strenuous the job is and become complicit in managements scheming.

I would personally like to see Terry come in and work a delivery that hasn’t been out in 3 days and deal with the pressure from management to complete it. Maybe after experiencing this hell he may start to do the decent thing and update the paying members more often.
Won’t happen obviously but it’s nice to dream.

i have the upmost respect for any regular postie who offers themselves for help & advice for no personal gain
just think about the odd 30mins for stage meetings and other occasions that requires a witness, ours still does his full duty too,
i wouldn't do it for a gold pig

our office rep does a pretty decent job, but even he is getting frustrated with the lack of support from area reps
