Hi, sorry if this is the wrong forum - if so, if anyone could advise that would be grand!
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the deal is with rehabilitation? Is it mandatory that a staff member returns to work on a rehab plan? Let's say the staff member twisted an ankle and was off for 1 or 2 months, is rehab mandatory?
Can anyone tell me the difference between rehabilitation and light duties? As far as I'm aware: if you're on a rehab plan then no overtime is allowed for you - so if you're on a full time, 38 hour contract, then you cannot come in early, stay late, or work your rest days, and get overtime pay?
Is it the same for light duties?
Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks all!

Rehab Questions
The point is with light duties and rehab it's there to help you back to normal duties after long term sickness. Rehab should have been agreed with o h assist before going back to work. It's there for your benefit , it gently gets you up to speed to being able to go back to your normal duty.

Rehab Questions
Oh I absolutely understand that, and think it's a great way to get people back to work and into the groove a lot easier.
However, can the staff member returning refuse any rehab? And then all those questions about over time as above :)
