Holiday entitlement

Post by annem »

Hi all,
How many holiday days are we entitled to after 5 years service? Is it 23 days?
And if you buy purchase leave, should the adjusted entitlement be 7 days taking the total up to 30 days?
Also, what happens if your day off falls on Boxing Day? It's not a bank holiday this year so does that mean it's just tough luck for anyone whose day off falls on that day? What if a day off falls on Monday 28th - will we get a day back for that?
Thanks in advance.

If your day off falls on Dec 26th, as you said it’s just unlucky. If your day off is Mon 28th you get the day back.

The entitlement after 5 years is 23.5 days (in hours).
