shared duty overtime
Just tell them and the boss what your plans are as early as possible to give them the chance to come up with a contingency plan. You tend to find, rightly or wrongly, that you're told to make your own way back to the office or home. Run that scenario past your rep and see what they say.

You have been van sharing recently or are you talking pre middle of March? If you don’t want to do extra you don’t have to and if you want to finish on time they should get your partner to drop you back at the office then he can go and do it if he wants.
