New HS Union Rep
Hi All, just became the new H&S Union rep at my d/o. Any advice on the role and what to expect would be greatly appreciated. This is my first union posting so I'm kind of excited and kind of nervous. I know the finer points of what I'll be doing, but I'm not sure where training comes into it. Asked the main rep for the office and he said training may be difficult during the COVID crisis even if it is over zoom?

Lets put it this way it all comes down to common sense we all see things going wrong till we do it ourselves and it becomes an oversight, this can be a good excuse but if a manager want's to put 100 frames into a place with only 65 frame places and you sign it off they will come for you sage advice is good advice!
