right, i was suspened 3 weeks ago for "wilful delay"
i have recieved no pay at all over these 3 weeks, i phoned wages today and they said my manager had put in a note to stop my pay from November 13th, and that my absence is being classed as "unauthorised" woman on the phone at wages today said under no circumstances should he have stopped my pay and that i should have been paid in FULL during my suspension.

what do i need to do to claim these 3 weeks back?
Send him a letter, copy it in to his manager & your CWU rep & tell him if you have to you will take it to ET.

Unfortunately this is an all to common practice because management do not know the conduct code, what has your rep been doing??? Ask for a meeting with your dim and tell them you are considering legal action, and point out that the women told u that the management are wrong, if your reps no good get in touch with your area rep, this is just another example of how far these scummy managers will sink Do not let the bastards grind you down
the woman at wages said its terms and conditions that were brought in a good while ago and my pay should NOT have been stopped.... this companys managers couldn't run a piss up in a brewry
cant get a hold of my rep just now to tell him.
going in for a meeting tomorrow to get my job back 3 fecking weeks ive waited for this letter and he also says in it that he stopped my wages.

illegal witholding of wages under the Wages Act 1992 -recoverable in a ET + Dispute Resolution Act 2002 , sounds deliberately spiteful & vindictive -well I never!,he's trying to get you on UA to make the Wilful Delay charge stick , trying to be too clever by half -typical RM mgt

he said in his statement he was sending me home, i was only doing as he told me. he can stick his wilful delay charge up his a*se
its clear yoy ARE due the wages iam a rep and are at present representing some one like you who is suspended on FULL PAY make it clear to managment that you are due the wages and because they stpped your wages the manager has found you guilty prior to any conduct interview and has prejudged the case and threaten him with an ET
I seem to be missing something here, or maybe a bit more clarity is needed for me to understand what the hell is going on.
If stuartG81 has been suspended by management, then it was obviously a decision taken by them and full pay on suspension would be the norm for wilful delay. This meeans that, a conscious decision was taken to suspend, but then for the manager to send a letter to wages saying that the the absence was unauthorised has me baffled?! Is there something else we should know that you haven't mentioned yet stuartG81, because this situation sounds quite ridiculous?

nope, nothing at all.all i did was hand back 2 bags and they classed it as 'wilful delay', they stopped my wages for 3 weeks, i even phoned wages and they said i should have still been paid. told my union rep and he says it's now being sorted and i'll get the wages im due.
