Work in a smallish office of around 18 deliveries, and the majority of union members in the office have no faith in our union rep. He has his own agenda and isn't representing the office the way we think he should. What is the correct procedure in removing him from his post as union rep?
Thank you.

Get in touch with Division they're less likely to want to keep an unwanted rep in place than Area who probably spent time and effort only to be faced with doing it all again with a new rep. Tell Division that you want the rep GONE not just to tell the rep to shape up. Vote of no confidence.

Of course you'll need someone to step up to replace him.....DaveF14 wrote:Work in a smallish office of around 18 deliveries, and the majority of union members in the office have no faith in our union rep. When our office did the vote of no confidence thing by sending a letter to our then branch secretary, he ignored it and then sent it to the rep with a letter taking the piss out of the members
, we've since got and even worse rep, so be careful what you wish for.
