seeing as rm bosses and cwu are now back into fresh talks over the saturday starts times...
once again rm bosses move the goalposts to thier advantage...

i was wondering if the deal is being put on hold,would that include the money we are owed also..

any ideas??????????????????

Pay and Modernisation Agreement 2007 - Pay Increase, Lump Sum and Pay Arrears Payments





Further to LTB 1040/07 confirming the endorsement of the above Agreement we have now been advised by the business that the £175 lump sum payments, the new pay rates and any arrears due will be received on the following pay dates:





Weekly paid staff - 14th December 2007


Monthly paid staff - 24th December 2007






Any enquiries on the above should be directed to the DGS(P) Department.

Unless mail gets in earlier on a saturday we will have well over a thousand letters/items of mail not being delivered every saturday.

Thats the argument of DOM is using. He is also saying that we can start earlier Saturdays if we want but the Mail Sort 3 has to go as well. Pointed out that that does not comply with the SDD agreement unless we went to 8hr days and no long and shorts. Was not popular with him..

how come wen i spoke to my union rep he told me on the 14th december that we are getting £175. i said back to him that i thought it was £350, he said he aint heard anythin like that! so what am i suppose 2 be gettin next friday??

£175 lump sum from the employee share of savings scheme

£175 backdated pay

subtotal £350

+ backdated overtime


Total £350 + backdated increase on overtime.
