stage 3 interview

Post by staff1974 »

Hi i triggered a stage 3 after being off with pericarditis, my dom said he would contact occ health to see if they could help me in any way. When i recieved my letter it stated the reason for my occ health interview was possible dismissal, my dom only mentioned occ health as a means to get me help or another opinion on possible causes etc im now in the position of losing my job and dont quite knnow what to do. Any advice would be much appreciated

Once you trigger a COD(stage 3) a OHS referral will automatically be made. This is standard practice and part of the attendance procedure.
Hopefully you are a CWU member. Please ask your local rep to make contact with the area rep asap in order to facilitate representation.
Good luck.

When you trigger a stage 3 do they wait for you to return to work from the absence that triggered it or can it be issued and you dismissed (subject to appeal) in your absence?
