Manchester mail centre postive covid cases

Postperson tested positive and carried on working across shifts doing overtime while having a positive covid test result.. some staff sent home. Why is this building not having a deep clean.. not a quick wipe with a damp cloth

Why is this postperson still employed? Surely coming to work with a known positive test result should be instant dismissal?

hearing more cases now confirmed at manchester mail centre! always going to happen at that place as no social distancing really enforced there! oh well reap what u sow royal mail!

Why is rm being blamed are the posties themselves not able to enforce social distancing.

maybe because they took so long to implement basic measures ie hand gel masks gloves etc. There response was soap and water more than adequate and the lack of any planning and health and safety measures in place to social distance!

Why is it the posties fault.. you are pressured and lied to by managers. Double figure positive case in only a few days how many more will test positive over the coming weeks.. PPE seriously.. few gloves bit of cheap hand sanitizer. Managers never enforced guidelines they had a duty of care to every individual who works there.. more aand more casuals being brought in they are never socially distanced just used and abused by managers.. any1 reading this who work there will know that NO guidelines where ever implimented

casuals coming in off the street in to the workplace sounds like a good idea? who knows how many have got it and are coming in to workplaces! social distancing is not happening at royal mail and the management need to be held accountable for putting peoples lives at risk!

This is the second thread about Manchester mail centre during this pandemic, a staff member from there was in intensive care in April, seems like a public health investigation is needed
