We moved back to 5 oclock before ballot result announced. I am the union rep and it just means sticking together and insisting on the old times. Lets not forget they will come for the flexibility so if they dont give you 05.00 start then tell them you wont accept the former as they have broken the agreement. Watch them change their stance.

i just want to know that they will keep thier end of the agreement and i would rather finnish at 1215 rather than 115 on a satjafferpants wrote:Someone please tell me if i'm missing something here, but we went on strike against flexable working amongst other things. Now we want the 5 am start on the saturday whilst we carry on at 6-15 the rest of the week. If thats not flexability what the f**k is.

At my DO we are getting ready for a vote on later starts (especially Saturdays) as this was a major bone of contention and was probably the main reason we were 100% all the time. Thing is the DOM knows this but rumours are that he will refuse us the earlier start if the Union requests it.jafferpants wrote:Someone please tell me if i'm missing something here, but we went on strike against flexable working amongst other things. sat start times
how can they refuse it its in their agreement
which may have swayed certain people to accept terms of pay / flex etc. offer
if they refuse i would suggest they ( rm )are scrapping their own deal
i would think someone should point this out to h.q.
you cant just change agreements at drop of a hat ???
this will be happening all over the country
