i voted Wednesday but Thursday is a close second as they break the week up quite nicely and its Good to be able to go out midweek avoiding the weekend crowds

Would prefer a Saturday off working Monday to Friday but at present Thursday is my best day off usually a heavier day and splits up the week. Wednesday is also a good day for splitting the week up . Long weekends are a drag now as you are knackered at the end of the week . So you can’t really enjoy the Saturday off like it was when you used to when you finished earlier on a Friday. Then you have to wait a whole week to get a quieter Tuesday off.

I was thinking about this the other day.

As much as I hate busy days like Wednesdays lobbing a heavy bag around.....

Saturday has to be the day to have off, it's the weekend, simple as that, Sunday follows....

I dislike having 1 day off at a time. You need 2 days to switch off.

wont having every Saturday off be like this as you will have only 5 days to get rid of 6 days worth of mail think what its like on bank holiday weeks that will be your workload every week

I think the best day off is the one you need to have so haven't voted. If pushed then probably the best days to have off would be Wednesday or Thursday because they are typically the busiest or Saturday because it can sometimes be the busiest day of the week and 'it is the weekend'.

My gut response is Saturday, but my head says Wednesday. Breaks up the week and if you can get a proper early finish on Tuesday you can really maximise your time off
