From what I can gather, the expectation is that mail runs will continue as normal and once the mail reaches the d.o. then it will be down to DOM's planning whether it's thrown in on Saturday or left for Monday.

It's in the presentation that CSS machines won't be run on Fridays so in event that it does go out to DOs it'll all be manual. I'll be surprised if night shifts in MCs even touch the flats and letters - most likely is that all staff who'd normally be on manual flats, mech flats (if the MC has a FSM), manual letters and mech letters will all be on packets or Tracked all shift

Hi mate, indeed you are correct, mate of mine on CSS machines just informed me that they aren't running them tonight.

Is his office an MC or an MPU? If it's a MC could you ask your mate if the iLSMs or IMPs are being run at all on nights just to batch the mech and did the late shift run any mech (inc an FSM if they've got one)
