"Could" be banned - and probably depends on where our infection and death rates are at after Easter, as opposed to some arbitrary determining of whether people are disobeying the rules. This government is doing everything by data, from elections to pandemics.
And regardless of what is banned, we'll still be going to work.

If outdoor exercise does get banned, we posties could be the most privileged, exercised representation of humanity in the whole of the Kingdom! I'm getting cabin fever with just having to stay in this one day (Sunday).... not looking forward to Easter.

Banning outdoor exercise would be an incredibly bad idea and long term would have immense detrimental effect on the health of the population. It would also reduce peoples immune system making it much more likely to flare up again on a release of the measures not to mention mental heath and the increased suicide rates and domestic violence that would insue.

I've been out on my bike today and it was very very quiet. People in Lincolnshire are taking lock down very seriously, don't know about anywhere else.

100's of cyclists, ? really? Where do you live? Maybe it's because there aren't 1000's of cars hiding them.ebbzie wrote:Hope it is banned then wont have to put up with 100"s of cyclist and joggers going past me every day , some with no regards to distancing

f***ing cyclists!! Now I’m not anti bike - I use one to commute to work from time to time. I’ve also seen people out trying to get their dose of exercise who you can see aren’t used to riding a bike as they’re struggling along. The ones I’ve got the ump with are the half wits who think they’re in the Tour de France. They’re obviously getting up in the morning, kitting up in their ridiculous kit and then peddling furiously along due to lack of cars. Listen you retards...... you’re supposed to be taking exercise in the area around where you live not seeing if you can do 60 miles in 4 hours.

Ah Surrey, that'll be full of lycra clad business men pretending to be cyclists. They're the f in idiots that are gonna get proper cyclists banned from doing an hr or two of what they love, responsibly, to clear their head of all this madness and try and keep fit to stand the best chance if the virus comes knocking.ebbzie wrote:YEs i deliver on the route of the olympic cycling event .I d say on a normal Saturday i see 500+ go past me and now 200+ dropped a bit but still some going past within a foot of me as im walking along and some in groups of 5/6rambo1 wrote:100's of cyclists, ? really? I agree, and btw 60 miles in 4 hrs really is very slow. Must admit though, I do enjoy the lack of traffic, most cars don't give you 2m social distancing or not.GRS wrote:f***ing cyclists!!
