AND NOW THE REAL BATTLE BEGIN'S
For this will not be a national battle but each office will fight it's own corner and if anyone think's that just because 51000 of the membership out of 126500 that this failed agreement is just going to sail through is in for a big shock!. In 1938 neville chamberlain came back from munich saying we have peace for our time what followed was the biggest war in history in which 50 million people died. All because that piece of paper was a failed agreement!.FOR THIS AGREEMENT IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON!.

No but it is certainly plagued by some people who think that they are better than the rest of us and keep putting posters and their views down.Night Tonic wrote:Is this forum plagued by people that don't have the nonce to get off their fat arses and make something of their lives rather than getting anal about our bosses? Huh - just demonstrates what a bunch of narrow-minded (if not blinkered) individuals some of you are. You'll even turn on those that voted WITH you. How desperate. Only weeks ago we were all linking arms to fight this deal and now we've lost the vote you're just showing how much nonse you really have. If ever there was a reason to drive through change, some of the comments on here are reason enough.

Forgive us for wanting to discuss what is probably the biggest changes we are likely to see to our current jobs!

Agreed mate and I personally think its getting a bit out of hand. I've had PMs from people asking questions in private because they are worried about getting attacked on here. Very sad.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:No but it is certainly plagued by some people who think that they are better than the rest of us and keep putting posters and their views down.Night Tonic wrote:Is this forum plagued by people that don't have the nonce to get off their fat arses and make something of their lives rather than getting anal about our bosses? It doesn't matter what each others views are everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and respect (and not the Royal Mail lip service version).
All people are doing by swearing, insulting etc is putting people off posting and this is sad. Surely this forum should be about ALL of our views and not just the same old few posting the same messages constantly. Theres plenty of room in the playground!

I never said i was better than anyone! i was simply saying this "agreement" is a failed one i never called anyone till they started haveing a go at my post for if he (Night Tonic) think's it is so good let him post his own thread. For i do not mind constructive criticism but i have been a postman along time and can remember the way forward agreement and all the unoffical industrial action that followed that failed agreement!. And it must be said now this so called "agreement" is a hell of alot worse. I look forward to your post's for this is important to all of you.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:No but it is certainly plagued by some people who think that they are better than the rest of us and keep putting posters and their views down.Night Tonic wrote:Is this forum plagued by people that don't have the nonce to get off their fat arses and make something of their lives rather than getting anal about our bosses? He's not referring to you mate. He means Allan's lapdog.k979aaa wrote:I never said i was better than anyone! i was simply saying this "agreement" is a failed one i never called anyone till they started haveing a go at my post for if he (Night Tonic) think's it is so good let him post his own thread. This is a major agreement, but in my view it is not in the same league as the Way Forward. That changed our pay scales, our grades (PHG) , our leave allowances, our sick pay,the way we worked, and much more.k979aaa wrote:I never said i was better than anyone! i was simply saying this "agreement" is a failed one i never called anyone till they started haveing a go at my post for if he (Night Tonic) think's it is so good let him post his own thread. This dispute has 2 major issues - Flexibility and pensions. The pensions debate will be had in the new year and we must now tackle the flexibility in an organised and united manner. Whatever our views the agreement is in and while we sit here debating it Royal Mail are already drawing up their plans. We need to remember who the real enemies are!
