employee survey not anonymous?
just got the card through the door about access to the survey online. Instructions include providing your pay number to access the site. Is this a deliberate ploy? nobody will truthfully bring up their office problems if they`re not anonymous surely.

I suspect it's not intentionally done this way, but any malicious comments would get flagged up. My thinking it's an oversight but they needed some official login.
But am i hell giving any feedback, what's the point? They've been told for a decade of the issues... Any new issues won't be any different.

Yes, bit.ly is a tracking service and I don't trust Royal Mail further than the thickness of a Rizla paper.
If you append a + sign to a bit.ly address, the actual URL is revealed, which is in this case is https://royalmailes.eu.qualtrics.com/jf ... ANON=1&_=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
That last bit that seems to show anonymity is switched on cuts no ice with me. If you have to identify yourself with your pay number, you can't lie on the demographic questions, which we had to do on the old printed survey, to avoid reveling ourselves at our small office.

If any comments are about actual problems in the business locally or nationally you are just pointing out what needs fixing. You won't get into trouble unless you make insulting comments about other people so I don't think you need to worry whether they can work out who you are. There is loads of stuff wrong in RM so just write about some of those issues. If they want to know what we think of how they are running the business into the ground just tell them.
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.

employee survey not anonymous?
Lots of people won’t trust that’s its anonymous, lots of people won’t do it at home in their own time out of principle and most of us have not got access to a computer at work and even if we did the last thing we would want right now is to be sharing a keyboard with other people. Strange that they changed to do it this way which is bound to produce a very low response when in previous years they’ve made such a big fuss in my office that it MUST be done.

Big Trust survey and nobody trusts the business enough to fill it in.
Says it all really, who needs the results?

Some of the guys are receiving texts on there personal mobile from there manager asking them to complete the survey. Even had one of the workplace coaches going round the office desperately asking folk to fill it out.
Thought the survey was voluntary not compulsory. Over the years I've raised issues but nothing ever gets sorted. Can't see it changing.
