...or hr...

Sorry...

Have your say
Our 2020 Employee Survey is now live – it’s time to share your views

Our 2020 Employee Survey is now live until 11pm on 3 April. This is your chance to have your say and tell us how you feel about working at Royal Mail Group.

This year, everyone is completing the survey online. It is easy to access, shorter and completely confidential. All data is recorded directly on the platform of our new independent partner, Qualtrics. We will also get the results more quickly, so there is more time to focus on action planning.

If you are a frontline colleague with no work email address:

Go online on any internet-enabled device and enter this address: http://bit.ly/rmgsurvey2020" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Enter your pay number as your password and follow the instructions.

Look out for a postcard landing at your home address later this week with the survey link, QR code and instructions, as well as posters and information on the TV screens in your workplace.

Colleagues who have a work email address will receive the link to the survey by email as usual.

Play the video to hear from our chief HR officer, Sally Ashford.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

They want our views on an employer that breaks agreements has a opportunity to resolve things but prefers to fight us in a courtroom?

Previously we could complete the paper survey in WTLL - so can we claim the 15 mins OT for 'homework' ie completing the survey at home
as our Tuesday WTLL will be given over to lapsing.....? - because I don't want to use my mobile data for doing this pointless exercise........

TBH Yellowbelly I take the Survey Home and Bin it. This post has been discussed every year since it started and there doesn't really seem to be a Conclusive Answer. :hmmmm Leave it in the Office? ....... Does the DOM fill it in to make himself look good? :no no Return it Blank? ..... And it counts as a Reply? :no no Fill it in after hours of contemplation with really good ideas? ...... And it's simply ignored? :no no

IMHO it's just a Bullshit Excercise so that RM can say, "Yes we communicate regularly with our Staff, and they have lots of input into the way the Business is run" ;liar I believe they have to do this sort of BS to qualify for the "Investors in People" accreditation. A lot of Blue Chip Companies Will Not do Business unless you have this Award! :cuppa

Predicting the lowest ever reply rate to the survey especially if there isn't an option to leave comments.

With no confidentiality and more importantly, no! What's the point. Not doing the survey would likely say more, and yet HR wouldn't work it out why.

It never has been anonymous. It asks that many personal detail questions that it can't possibly be.

If there is a poor reply rate at your DO/MC the DOM gets it in the neck from RM which can be a good or bad thing depending if the DOM is worth their salt or not.

I filled in the survey today more to see what the questions were and to see if there were any comment boxes we could write comments etc.
Some of the questions were a bit vague as to which part of the business they were in reference to as in local or business as a whole. I'm not keen on those kind of questions but I did answer them all. I think there were three comment boxes where you could write what you thought about three subjects which is an improvement on previous surveys. They seem most interested in pushing their idea that there has to be massive change which I think the majority of us are against.
Anyway if you decide to fill it in I think this year's survey is more worth doing. I'm not suggesting that we should expect anything good from it or that they won't report the results to suit their own ends.

All we can do is try to change the world a little bit at a time. :angel

In what way is it 'more worth doing' than any of the previous years?

You mean you actually tick the correct boxes for those ones?!?!
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
