Contract changed at shirt notice

Hi lads , looking advice / views .
Executive action brought in 3 weeks ago , me and another of covered large industrial area , 2 separate duties , 2 vans , removed my mates duties and lumped his delivery into me .
I am on a Mon - Fri duty , flexible working granted 7 years ago as my wife is disabled and my whole delivery bar 6 firms closed on Saturday.
Handed a letter on Friday stating I was moving to a rotating day off from next week , unfair and unreasonable , PS my mate was shipped out to another function , so management are an opg short , , thoughts please , as I am primary carer for my wife , thanx

Not sure old boy. Put in a grievance? First thing is to get on to your Union Rep ASAP. Maybe someone else'll be along with some more useful info. All the best.

Is it now a shared van duty? your duty only delivers to 6 drops on a Saturday so it will be easy on Saturdays no?

For some constructive advice you might need to give a bit more detail, my thoughts were;

So the pair of you were covering two separate duties and now you're going to do his duty as well? Surely this is going to take you over your
contracted amount of hours (irrespective of your flexible start/finish times)?

And, what are they going to ask you to do on a Saturday if there's only six drops on your duty - thought you came under DDA for walking deliveries from your other posts?
Are they getting you to do another van duty?

He can't do 2 whole deliveries on his own Mon-Fri,Saturday yes with only 6 drops on one of the deliveries?

That's what I thought, that's why I queried about his contracted hours from the statement below - doesn't make sense, surely impossible
to complete.......
