Apparently this Easter extra van drivers will be needed. Recently jobs advertised on Pertemps to work for RM.

I would say likely that is what this advert is about. They did it last time so they will do the same this time. He has tunnel vision and will not turn around even when the brick wall is not far off.

We have neither had or needed extra drivers at Easter. It is no busier than the rest of the year excluding Xmas. Clearly being brought in to cover any strike action.

Yes and lots of people would probably stay off work just for the long weekend! Anyone who's day off is good Friday or the Monday could take the payment Instead of the lieu day as well so not losing as much money

They didn`t learn anything from last Christmas when they hired thousands of casuals and kept them for weeks to prevent our strike, those casuals have no training and will only bring misery to customers and Rm, plus their wages are higher than ours, costing the company more than paying OT to clear the backlog.

Instead of blanking Cwu, trying to implement changes without our accept and adopting dodgy tactics by making false statements, hiring actors and not respecting agreements, Rico et co should do what any normal employer would do, work closely with the workforce.

This behaviour of his is unacceptable and unbelievable.

Great shout claystones. We need to be taking the fight to them now and planning ahead. Let's get plans in place and put them and their 'executive action' moves on the back foot.

In my opinion Rico would happy if you strike these two days as mail / parcels levels would be low.

And the public will have been sat at home over the extended Easter weekend ordering all their worthless internet tat for us to be swamped with following those strike days.

sods law strike dates end up falling within a coronavirus quarantine event.

the virus didn't take long to escalate in china and italy. Likely same thing will happen here in around 2 to 8 weeks time and we will see towns/cities/regions shut down.

I am surprised London hasn't had a large outbreak seeing as it is a business and tourist destination that is densely populated. Maybe everyone is doing a good job of washing their hands and their bums. :wave
