( they are switching to hours this year in april so was on old system for holidays ) ive had 20 days holiday so far.

now transferred to another office on 24 hours and been told got 5 hours left as they have been on hours holiday for few years so not even getting 22.5 days holiday.

All offices have been on hours for years. It's the only way to record it.

When you change contract hours it can screw things up sometimes. Say for instance that you changed from 27 hours to 35 hours at exactly six months into the year. Because you accrue leave throughout the year PsP will give you half your leave at 27 and half at 35. The average of that is 31 so you will be entitled to 31hrsx4.5weeks so that will be 139.5. if you took 1 week(27hrs) in the first half of the year and 3 weeks(105hrs) in the second half of the year that would be 132 hrs only leaving you 7.5hrs to take.

Ask them to print you out a leave sheet from PSP. That should show why you only have five hours left.

This happened when we dropped to 38 hours. Full timers only got an average 38.5 hours that year.
