What time is your office usually loading the vans by?

Post by hewittinspain »

I moved offices a year ago and I can see a difference in bagging up times. My old office we were usually out of the door by 9.45pm but ive found in my new office its around 9-9.15 which makes a big difference when trying to complete on time.
Is this to do with better efficiency or the fact mail comes up earlier in this office compared to the old office.?

We don't get out till roughly 9:45 it's meant to be 9:40 dispatch I think. we take our 20 minute break (mandatory) at 9.may depend on your indoor were well stretched to prepping 5 sequenced and 4 manual duties each morning

ok start times 6.42 on Mondays and Saturdays 6.57 for every other day, busy city office so leave time is about 9.30 onwards some slightly after 10.00
4hr delivery span, not including travel through busy traffic. so finnish is mostly approx. 2.45 earlier on a Tuesday, if the shorter working week was implemented
a later start would be input to our office.

1 - Those that come in early in their own time & take no breaks & take the lapsing out by 8:30 back for 12:30/1:00
2 - Those that start on time, but take no breaks & take their lapsing out for 9:00 to 9:15 back for 1:00/1:30
3 - Those that start on time, take their breaks, refuse lapsing out for 9:30/9:45 stretch it out a bit back just after 2
4 - Those that start on time, take their breaks & take their lapsing 9:30/9:45 back anytime after 3/4:00 & claim the odd bit of O/T here & there?

Looking at the above I do wonder who RM would rather employ?

Most are out the door by 9am
Scheduled departure time is 9.55.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Normally if prep done on time etc, around 9:15

On a quiet day 08:30-08:45 - funny that, 28hrs contract start time is 08:54. so you watching vans going past on your way to DO, and upon arrival find DO empty and that your walk is not fully prepped. :nana :nana :nana

If your local MPU is one that is closing (my gut feeling is that RM are going to close all MPUs) then there'll be a knock-on affect on dispatch times as the MC will have the same amount of machines but more batches to run

Walking across the car park at 8.50 for a 9.00 start, the singleton /rural full timers are loading vans. Up to an hour later I and the other part timers, and the van shares are loading up.

The killer is the lapsing. The early birds get LESS.
